Titan Alloy Snow Tire Chains Installation - 2020 Lincoln Navigator

AJ: What's up everybody It's AJ with etrailor.com. Today, we're going to be checking out these tightened tire chains on our 2020 Lincoln Navigator and these are a diamond pattern, D-Link tire chains. So, they'll be good for getting that maximum grip out of the chains on that snow and ice that you wouldn't get without them. So, they're going to have way more coverage on the tire than the other types of chains and just ride smooth too. Let's check them out.Taking a closer look up on top of the tire, you can see the diamond pattern like I was talking about and this is going to be good for more coverage on your tires versus some of the other styles, like the cable chains that are a ladder pattern. So, that's just one cable goes across all the way around the tire and those are good for starts and stops and very light snow, but they don't really help you out too much with the ice. This one has the D-links. more

Titan Alloy Snow Tire Chains Installation - 2015 Lincoln MKX- Video

Titan Alloy Snow Tire Chains Installation - 2015 Lincoln MKX

Speaker 1: Today in our 2015 Lincoln MKX, we're going to be test fitting the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Sire Chains, part number TC2317. These are great strong, durable tire chains, but before we even get started, you need to figure out exactly what these are going to be used for. These chains are primarily used for situations where you encounter snow and ice regularly, as opposed to the roller style, which that's for the light snow situations. This one has these square links here, the form cross chains that are actually going to cut in to the snow and ice and provide better starting and stopping power once you get there. Plus, because they do have a diamond pattern on them, that means greater coverage around the tire. These are made from a durable manganese nickel alloy, and these are considered SAE Class S chains, meaning they work well with vehicles with limited wheel well clearance and can work with either front or rear wheel drive vehicles as well. Once installed, they have a max speed rating of 30 MPH, and they do come in a quantity of two.Another nice feature about this, is the self-tensioning system here, which puts it a step above the tire chains that require the rubber adjusters, which are sold separately. Also, when you're finished using the chains and they're dried off, it does come with a convenient carrying bag, so they can be ready for next time.Today we're working with tire size 224/60-18. more

Konig Standard Snow Tire Chains Installation - 2016 Lincoln MKX- Video

Konig Standard Snow Tire Chains Installation - 2016 Lincoln MKX

Today in our 2016 Lincoln MKX, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Konig standard snow tire chains part number TH01571265, and that's tire size 265 40 R21. These tire chains are great in all weather conditions on road or off road on cars, trucks, or SUVs. They feature a diamond pattern rather than a ladder patter, so they're going to provide you with more tire coverage which means more traction. They have dual sided D shaped links for increased traction. Most chains require a rubber adjuster or and additional part to help keep the chains tight and snug around the tire on the road. These have a built in tensioner which eliminates the need from having to buy one. Most chains also require an awkward connection where you have to get on the ground and connect them in the back. more
